Application Sizing Review
Danfoss Drives support begins with the load rather than the catalog number. Engineers compare motor kW, overload class, torque behavior, enclosure temperature and switching frequency so a fan, pump, compressor or conveyor receives the correct VLT or VACON platform. The review documents expected current at duty point, IEC 61800-3 EMC category, available bypass strategy and the spare capacity needed for summer ambient or process upset. That reduces oversizing while keeping the service factor transparent for maintenance teams.
Alarm and Fault-Code Troubleshooting
When a site asks for a Danfoss VFD alarm list or fault code PDF, the real need is usually a fast decision path. Our support team translates alarm history into measurements: DC bus trend, motor insulation status, STO wiring state, earth leakage, output phase balance and cooling fan condition. For alarm 60 and overload cases we ask for ramp settings, motor nameplate data, load inertia and recent mechanical work. The result is a prioritized checklist that field technicians can execute without rewriting the whole parameter set.
Retrofit and Migration Planning
Many facilities run mature drives that still have valuable panel infrastructure. We map legacy VLT footprints, I/O, fieldbus, brake chopper ratings and harmonic filters to current drive families, then identify what can stay in place and what must change for safety compliance. Retrofit notes include terminal cross-reference, heat dissipation in W, cabinet airflow, cable shielding and commissioning hold points. That approach keeps downtime inside a planned shutdown rather than a reactive emergency.
Lifecycle Spares and Distributor Coordination
For multi-site OEMs and MRO teams, DrivePro support also means availability discipline. We help define recommended spares by power band, enclosure and application criticality, then coordinate distributor routing for urgent replacement. Each spare kit can include keypad, control card, fan, DC link capacitor guidance and parameter backup procedure. The goal is practical: a technician should know which part to pull, which manual to open and which parameter file to restore before a line restart.
